Berhampore Village

A new revitalisation project in Wellington’s Berhampore suburb aims to create a more attractive, pedestrian-friendly village locale. The project features our popular scooter parks as well as locally made custom public seating. The main feature of this upgrade however, is the large number of our NZ made bespoke planters created to serve as both a shelter walls and as a way of adding attractive greenery to the area. A two-tone aesthetic was created through a use of white powder coated 4.0mm Aluminium and natural 3.0mm Corten finishes. The aged Corten Steel material’s complex rich, dark colouring creates a perfect contrast to the bold white finish of the surrounding planters.
