Freyberg Street “Safer Schools” area

For Wellingtons Kilbirnie Connections project, trial changes were made Freyberg Street to create a communal space where people can rest or easily cross the road.  To make the location safer to pedestrians, especially children going to the nearby school, 4 large custom Omos s21 Planters were installed to act as protection against vehicles while also beautifying the space.  Bespoke seating manufactured by Tilley Group creates communal space for pedestrians to sit and enjoy the space.
