Te Pae Mahara Roulston War Memorial Park has reopened – refreshed, reimagined, and ready to be enjoyed once again by the Pukekohe community. Across the park, laser-cut corten steel decorative panels bring warmth and storytelling to the landscape. Manufactured in our local factory, each 5.0 mm folded panel features intricate patterns cut into a variety of sizes and shapes, designed to follow the natural contours of the site. From the bold entrance to the tasteful accent panels, together they interlock seamlessly, forming a continuous visual thread that weaves throughout the space. The addition of Christie Barbecues’s popular ICON public park-safe accessible cooking platform, alongside new picnic areas, enhanced walkways, and improved accessibility, makes the park more welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.
